Memory is a preview. On a server without it, these commands fail with NOT_FOUND "Memory is not enabled on this server".
A workspace admin turns memory on with wiele memory enable. Wiele then indexes main: it splits each supported file into passages and extracts short statements, each quoting the passage it came from. Every later commit to main is indexed in the background. wiele memory recall returns only what you can read, and for a fact that changed over time it marks the newest value current and lists the older ones. wiele memory answer recalls the same way, then writes a short answer that cites the files it used, or says it does not know.
Statements are written in each of the workspace's memory languages, at most two by default: the most common language of its files, then English. Recall returns them in the language of the question. wiele memory languages shows the languages and what each costs to index; a workspace admin changes them with --set, which re-extracts statements for every indexed file.
Memory costs credits from the organization's plan: 45 credits per MB of new text in the first language and 12 per MB for each further one, 0.1 per recall, and 0.5 or 1 per answer depending on the model. One credit is $0.01; plans include 300 (Starter), 2,500 (Pro) or 25,000 (Enterprise) a billing period. wiele billing usage shows the period's credits, and an owner or admin sets the monthly cap on overage with wiele billing cap --usd N or --none. At the cap, recall and answer fail with SPENDING_CAP_REACHED and indexing pauses until the cap is raised or the next period starts; files, sync and file search keep working.
wiele memory
Recall facts and passages from a workspace's memory. Memory runs only on servers that enable it; elsewhere these commands fail with NOT_FOUND.
wiele memory <subcommand> [flags]
wiele memory status
Show whether memory indexes main and how far it has got.
wiele memory status [flags]

|---|---|
--workspace string |
Workspace ID, slug or name. Not needed inside a checkout or when the path is written as WORKSPACE:/path. |
--org string |
Organization ID or slug. Default: the checkout's organization when the workspace comes from the checkout, otherwise the one picked with wiele org use. |
wiele memory enable
Turn on memory for a workspace and index main. Requires workspace admin.
